Remains of a Lost Heart - Part 7

Seriously, this delayed posting of parts has almost become a habit and I have a different reason all the time. This time around, its Nyah. Yup, she caused the delay in this post. Shes my new Nikon D90 and she is keeping me busy enough not to write. Now, here goes Part 7 of the story. Read on...... Chapter 7 - The New Company Arya was lost for a few minutes and he tried to build random conversations to find out who it was. And then it struck him, it was the very same voice he was pining to hear for the rest of his life, a few months back. Somehow it brought up all the memories he had tried to bury over time. He felt the same nervousness and excitement that he felt eight and more years before. “Oh my god! Is that you Nisha and you are calling from a local number. Am I thinking right?”, asked Arya with a clear tone of excitement and joy in his voice. He was literally jumping up and down and his friends had no clue what was happening. “Oh yes dude. Arya felt there was something missing

Read and enjoy. Here goes the next installment.  Chapter 5 - The Day After Arya saw her walk away, turn into a silhouette and vanish into the darkness. The second she vanished, it almost felt like the darkness, into which she went had consumed his thoughts. He was clueless about her state of mind and he just turned on some music and drove into the night and crashed at his cousin’s place. He got up very early in the morning and messaged Nisha asking her why she wouldn’t meet him today and if it had anything to do with the conversation he had started. She called right away and squeaked into the phone, “Arya, don’t be a fool. I just had forgotten that I had to take mom for a complete checkup today. I really mis
