The Memories Remain.....

This is the second in the trilogy of poems..... Here it is!!


Things did change….Life had to go on…….
Living every moment just to know what was beyond….
I made a lot of money …… earned a lot of fame…
For myself in this world, I had made a name……
No one to share with, the taste of success so sweet,
All these days it was one thought that was haunting me - It was her I was dying to meet.
Where she was I had no clue…
Although in my heart she lived I knew….
I asked her friends, I asked my foes….
I wanted to find out if someone knows….
To no avail of course……
For some reason I knew I will never meet her again…
Thinking about her - I started to refrain…..
For, I now had a family to care for….
I knew it was all over,
Not just for now, but for ever……
Still some where deep down in my heart – insane,
The Memories Remain……….!!!!
